Chicago welcomes Truong Enterprises to its freshly constructed, new facility at South Halsted and Lumber Street. The produce and ethnic food distributor, established 2001 and previously located at 25th and South Leavitt, hosted its grand opening celebration with prepared dishes and smiles all around.

From the beginning Truong specialized in Asian fruits and vegetables but soon added ethnic produce from around the world.

Today the distributor’s product offerings feature difficult to find, authentic ethnic produce, frozen foods, and groceries, including items grown and produced in the United States, for markets serving Asian, African American, Carribbean, and Hispanic communities throughout the Midwest.

Truong media representative Tu Luu, encouraging guests to try the exotic dishes spread about, said “It’s like taking a walk on the wild side of ethnic food.”
